Vacancies

While the band are mainly looking to recruit brass players (French Horn, Cornet, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Baritone, Tuba, Bass), the band will also consider applications from people who play Clarinet, Bassoon, and Percussion.  The only limitations we currently have are the Flute section, Oboes, but we could consider 1 additional Alto Saxophone player and another tenor saxophone.

As a band member, you will also be acknowledged as a Police volunteer, with all the benefits that go with that, including access to internal job adverts.  This means that most members need to be 18 years old or older.  We can accept Police Cadets into the band who are in the age range of 16 – 17, but other young people, must be accompanied to rehearsals and concerts by a parent or guardian.
