Musical Background and Education
• Early Training: He began with trombone and piano lessons, sang in various choirs, and played in rock and jazz ensembles such as the trio Jamin’ the Sandwich.
• “17-Year Gap Year”: After leaving school in 2004, Paul worked various jobs—including a stint as a mortgage advisor—while establishing himself as a self-employed music teacher.
• Academic Return: Following the loss of work during the 2020 lockdown, Paul returned to Higher Education at Grantham College and went on to study at the University of Nottingham, where he recently graduated with First Class Honours in Music Composition.
